The best rock climbing in Panama is in Boquete with world class climber Cesar Melendez. Cesar Melendez (born September 1, 1982) is a Rock Climber born in Boquete, Panama. Melendez, who was discovered by Canadian climber Gary Burton Henning in 2004, is considered to be the most talented sport climber in Panama. For the last four years Cesar has been developing sport routes for climbing in Boquete, Panama with Gary Henning from Canada. He has found some easy and challenging spots like Gunko in Boquete, Mana and Paradiso. All fully bolted featuring amazing basalt formations originated by the last volcano eruption in the area. The climbing is for levels from 5.7 up to 5.13. More than 30 routes and new routes being developed each year, including some water solos in the Pacific. The price includes all equipment. A bad day of Adam Ondra

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Short film made of a few “trash” or unsuccesful shots from Adam Ondras latest visit in Zillertal. Adam was training ON-SIGHT climbing for the upcoming World Cup competition. If he did’t succed, he just finished the route AF (all with 1 sit only) and left to try another “ON-SIGHT”. You can see the effort he gives to his climbing. So here are some “harder” routes from this great climbing area, performed by AO in one of his bad days… Who said that Adam is the shy and calm boy? :-D If you want to see more, follow BERNARTWOOD.CZ Regards!
