A lot of keyboard-commandos out there seem very quick to criticise that I used big holds, and was doing a route that didn’t seem to require a great amount of skill. Yes, that’s right. I was a beginner climber, and it was a beginner route. And it had very large holds. And it was fun. Forgive me for not realising that all climbing videos had to be of a certain grade route before I was allowed to post them online. I didn’t make this video to pass myself off as some experienced rock-climbing guru, so if you are looking for videos of expert climbers showing off their finesse on advanced routes, you’re in the wrong place. Go critique someone who cares.
